They have a slightly narrow fit, nevertheless they look extremely sturdy and high-quality shoes. The Continental anti-slip sole is excellent and performs perfectly on marble, tiles, and generally on slippery surfaces.
The Gore-Tex works as it should, as I tested them by wearing them inside a bathtub full of water, without any moisture getting through. The system where the laces "gather" inside the elastic so they don't stick out is very practical, while the metal eyelets help with a more comfortable and proper tying.
Overall, it is a stiff shoe that needs a few days to "break in" and soften on the foot. In the first days, it felt tight, but after about 15 hours of total use it settled and now I find it comfortable.

Η Gore-Tex λειτουργεί όπως πρέπει, καθώς τα δοκίμασα φορώντας τα μέσα σε μπανιέρα γεμάτη νερό, χωρίς να περάσει υγρασία. Το σύστημα όπου τα κορδόνια «μαζεύονται» μέσα στο λάστιχο ώστε να μην εξέχουν είναι πολύ πρακτικό, ενώ τα μεταλλικά κρικάκια βοηθούν στο πιο άνετο και σωστό δέσιμο.
Γενικά πρόκειται για σκληρό παπούτσι που χρειάζεται λίγες μέρες για να «σπάσει» και να μαλακώσει στο πόδι. Τις πρώτες μέρες μου έδινε την αίσθηση ότι είναι στενό, όμως μετά από περίπου 15 ώρες συνολικής χρήσης έστρωσε και πλέον το βρίσκω άνετο.
They are beautiful, lightweight, waterproof, warm and have good quality construction... my only objection is that they slip on wet sidewalks and secondly they are a bit tight...
