In the sanctuary of his greatest enemy, the warrior leader of his tribe's survivors fiercely and vigorously battles the power of his evil priest adversary, holding in his right hand the mighty Sword of Omens, a unique weapon that can summon all his allies from Thundera when in danger, grant him the so-called "Sight Beyond Sight" to see if there is danger beyond his vision, and unleash powerful energy blasts. The power comes from a stone embedded in the sword's hilt, the greatest symbol of his people, the secret Eye of Thundera. Raising his left hand, he protects himself with the Claw Shield, a gauntlet used for both defense and attack, functioning as both a shield and a weapon, with many capabilities such as launching hooks and smoke. Following the Code of Justice, Truth, Honor, and Loyalty, Iron Studios presents the figure “Lion-O Battle Ver. - Thundercats - BDS Art Scale 1/10,” the monarch of the Thundera lion line in a new battle version, on a base of dark rocks reminiscent of the interior of the malevolent Black Pyramid of the wizard Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living. Son of Claud-Us, the ruler of the planet Thundera, Lion-O was still a child when he boarded the escape ship before the destruction of his doomed planet. Followed by his mentor, the wise Jaga, and a group of nobles sworn to serve the young lord known as the ThunderCats, a group consisting of Panthro, an engineering and martial arts specialist; Tygra, a scientist and architect, second in command of the team; the warrior Cheetara; the children Willy Kat and Willy Kit; and Snarf, a nanny figure to the young prince responsible for caring for Lion-O. During the escape, their fleet is attacked by enemies of the Thunderians, the Mutants of Plun-Darr, causing damage to the escape ship. Lion-O's old guardian, Jaga, volunteers to pilot the ship and bring them safely to the destination planet called Third Earth. Jaga dies because the journey takes many decades, but already at their destination, when the ThunderCats awaken from the Suspension Capsules, Lion-O discovers that his capsule did not work and did not prevent his aging, awakening in the new world not as the child he was, but in the body of an adult. With the help of friendly inhabitants, the ThunderCats build their new home and headquarters, the Cat's Lair, but soon, Lion-O discovers that this new planet will be a place of many challenges and threats, facing both his old enemies the Mutants who seek the Eye of Thundera, and the mummified demon priest Mumm-Ra. For this reason, he must mature quickly, guided by the spirit of Jaga, with the help of the teachings of the ThunderCats. Developed by Rankin/Bass, based on characters created by Tobin “Ted” Wolf, the ThunderCats was a highly successful animated series in the 1980s, with 130 episodes divided into three seasons. The series tells the story of the adventures of a group of anthropomorphic cat survivors from the planet Thundera, in a blend of science fiction and fantasy.
