The Eiger WF-UV-330W replacement UV lamp is designed for water disinfection systems that use ultraviolet radiation. UV-C radiation inactivates bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms by disrupting their genetic material. Treatment uses no chemicals and does not alter the taste, odor, or composition of the water.
The lamp operates at a wavelength of 253.7 nm, and the system is installed as the final treatment stage, after the sediment and carbon filters. UV lamps and quartz sleeves should be replaced periodically.
