Update: They caused me heel spur. I have been suffering for 7 months now. Stay away.
For the first time in my life, I am facing such an issue. There must be some problem with their internal construction, because after 2-3 weeks of almost daily use, my foot started to hurt intensely as soon as I put weight on it, to the point where I couldn't stand... the pain starts from the heel and goes to the middle of the sole...
...they must have made a mistake in the curve of the shoe and maybe the surface has internal edges, so when it is pressed by the weight, it hits there and over time causes pain and irritates the nerves in the sole.
It's a pity, on the one hand, because they are "compact" and stylish and don't look so huge for me, since I wear a large size, and on the other hand, because I like Head as a brand that makes many products for tennis.
Even before the pain started, I didn't feel that good in them... for tennis you want flat shoes, a hard and durable outer sole (more so than other sports due to dragging in tennis), and a soft but stable interior.
The quality has dropped dramatically even in expensive shoes of around €130 and in the end, it's not worth investing your money there. Choosing is a problem now, from the "recycled" materials that don't even last a year to workmanship issues like this one.
We are neither taking better care of the planet by changing sports shoes every 6-8 months nor saving money with "cheap" products.
It's a big problem now, unless you want sports shoes only for walking... and even then...
