The Connects2 D-CAM-TY1-RT multimedia adapter retains the factory reversing camera when installing an aftermarket unit in a compatible Toyota vehicle. It connects to the camera via a 16-pin plug and terminates in a yellow RCA connector for the camera input.

The adapter provides a fused +12 V reverse signal and a ground connection. The factory camera supply voltage is +6 V; before installation, check the correct pin assignment by taking measurements at the factory unit.
