By "discovering" external enemies and conspirators, we avoid confronting the real, internal enemy. Our soul is ailing because we modern Greeks are enslaved to absurdity, to our contradictions, to division, to insatiable desires, to grandiosity, and to a pride that is essentially cowardice, which prevents us from making the effort to create something significant.
