The hero of the story, Bernie, was a peculiar rabbit-person. He lived with his younger sister, Rappelle. Rappelle was a beautiful, educated, and conventional girl who was trying to land a decent job so she could survive. In contrast, Bernie resembled more of a restless and open-minded spirit, constantly searching. He was involved in art, philosophy, astronomy, and carried a bunch of questions about life in his mind, which often led him to dead ends and madness [...]
