It is certain that tectonic changes are taking place in the energy sector, particularly in the architecture of Europe's energy security, which will create a new balance in European-Russian relations.

Greece, holding an excellent geographical position at the southeastern edge of Europe, can contribute to enhancing its security, particularly in the energy transportation routes with the resource-rich countries of the Middle East and North Africa.

At the same time, the climatic conditions prevailing in the country give it a comparative advantage in the first degree, in exploiting the green transition and its energy autonomy, and, in the second degree, in establishing itself as the leading exporter of clean green energy.
