To the friend who said it comes without a battery, he is wrong; it comes normally with a battery inside.

Update 8/7/25: πήρα το zb bridge, αξίζει και με το παραπάνω! Δεν έχω λόγια να περιγράψω πόσο καλή αγορά! Μπράβο στη σονοφ που μας βοηθάει να κάνουμε τα σπίτια μας έξυπνα με σχετικά λίγα λεφτά.
It is really very beautiful with a good screen. It has a very clever way of mounting on the wall so you can easily remove it to change the battery or if you want to temporarily take it somewhere else, and it is also magnetic if you want.
To the friend who said it comes without a battery, he is wrong; it comes normally with a battery inside.

Είναι πραγματικά πολύ όμορφο με καλή οθόνη. Έχει ένα πολύ έξυπνο τρόπο τοποθέτησης στον τοίχο ώστε να το αφαιρείς πανεύκολα για να αλλάξεις μπαταρία η αν θες προσωρινά να το πας κάπου αλλού και είναι και μαγνητικό άμα θες.
Για τον φίλο που είπε ότι έρχεται χωρίς μπαταρία κάνει λάθος έρχεται κανονικά με μπαταρία μέσα.
Προσοχή συνδέεται ΜΟΝΟ με αντάπτορα η κάποιο hub ZigBee ΔΕΝ είναι Wi-Fi
It does not connect to wifi! I did everything!! Obviously, they want us to buy the zigbee bridge and connect it there first, which means an extra cost of about 20€!

This autonomous temperature and humidity sensor works perfectly. When connected to a Zigbee hub for remote control, it experiences continuous disconnections.
Σας αυτόνομος αισθητήρας θερμοκρασίας και υγρασίας λειτουργεί άψογα . Σε σύνδεση με zigbee hub για απομακρυσμένο έλεγχο κάνει συνεχείς αποσυνδέσεις.
They do what they are supposed to without disconnections. I have 6 of these and in 5 months only 2 of them experienced disconnection twice. The accuracy of the temperature and the deviation that all 6 thermometers show between each other is minimal, around 0.2 degrees Celsius. Very reliable.
Κάνουν αυτό που πρέπει χωρίς αποσυνδέσεις. Εχω 6 τέτοια και στους 5 μήνες μόνο τα 2 μου παρουσίασαν 2 φορές αποσύνδεση. Η ακρίβεια της θερμοκρασίας και η απόκλιση που και τα 6 θερμόμετρα δείχνουν μεταξύ τους είναι ελάχιστη, της τάξης των 0,2 βαθμών κελσίου. Πάρα πολύ αξιόπιστα.

? How I use it in Home Assistant:
This is where the house really becomes smart:
Visual Confirmation: While HA controls the dehumidifier in the background, I see the humidity dropping in real time on the SNZB-02D screen.
Smart Living Room: If the temperature in the living room goes above 27°C, HA commands the smart plug of the fan or the AC to start cooling.
Alerts: If the humidity level drops below 30% (which dries out your throat), my Google Nest tells me to turn on the humidifier.
Why I chose it:
I don't look for my phone: I walk by, see "23°C," all good.
Data to the Max: In Home Assistant I have a full history with graphs to see where the house loses insulation.
Design: It's white, minimal, and fits everywhere without looking like a "cheap" thermometer.
The Verdict: The SNZB-02D is the sensor you want in the "central" rooms. It combines the digital convenience of the screen with the power of automation. If you want to fortify your home's climate and also have visual feedback, it's the best choice you can make for your Zigbee network!
Είναι το επόμενο level στην οχύρωση του σπιτιού. Τον έχω στο γραφείο και στο σαλόνι γιατί, εκτός από το ότι στέλνει τα πάντα στο ZHA, έχει μια πεντακάθαρη οθόνη 2.5 ιντσών που σου δείχνει τα πάντα με μια ματιά.

Αν θέλεις να οχυρώσεις το κλίμα του σπιτιού σου και να έχεις και την οπτική επαφή, είναι η καλύτερη επιλογή που μπορείς να κάνεις στο Zigbee δίκτυό σου!
Perfect for its simple use. Checked accurate measurements for both temperature and humidity levels, with minimal deviation, and continuous battery indicator to show when it needs changing. The battery is normally included in the package inside the product, you just need to pull out the plastic tab from the back. It does not have lighting, but in most conditions the screen is perfectly visible anyway. Easy placement either on the wall, in the fridge since it has a magnet, or on a piece of furniture as it can also stand on its own.
Άψογο για την απλή χρήση που έχει. Τσεκαρισμένα ακριβείς μετρήσεις και στη θερμοκρασία και στα επίπεδα υγρασίας, με ελάχιστη απόκλιση, και συνεχή ένδειξη μπαταρίας για να φαίνεται πότε θέλει αλλαγή. Η μπαταρία περιέχεται κανονικά στη συσκευασία μέσα στο προϊόν, θέλει απλά τράβηγμα το πλαστικό καρτελάκι από πίσω. Δεν έχει φωτισμό, αλλά στις περισσότερες συνθήκες η οθόνη φαίνεται μια χαρά ούτως ή άλλως. Εύκολη τοποθέτηση είτε στον τοίχο, είτε στο ψυγείο αφού έχει μαγνητάκι, είτε και σε κάποιο έπιπλο αφού στέκεται και αυτόνομα.
eWeLink does not (yet) recognize it as a sensor like the previous SNZB-02, which creates some issues with automations and scenes. Other than that, reliable and functional.

As a hygrometer and thermometer, it is a beast. I will soon get the ZigBee bridge as well, and I will return, but I am expecting miracles. I am very satisfied with Sonoff. I have many of their devices..
Update 8/7/25: I got the zb bridge, it's worth it and then some! I have no words to describe how good a purchase this is! Bravo to Sonoff for helping us make our homes smart with relatively little money.
