The HERMES Composite FS bituminous membrane is a waterproofing membrane made from oxidized asphalt.
The membrane is reinforced with a 100gr/m² polypropylene mesh, and its upper surface is coated with quartz sand while the lower side is covered with a thin polyethylene film.
It is used exclusively for waterproofing tiled roofs.
Its installation is done with nailing instead of hot bitumen.
