The smooth leather has a patina finish with varying shades of brown, darker at the edges and along the seams. They are made using the Goodyear welt construction method, with a liquid cork filling between the insole and outsole.

The leather sole has a rubber strip down the center for slip-resistant traction and can be replaced by a cobbler. To maintain the shoes, we recommend using clear shoe cream or a cream in a similar shade of brown to preserve the color variations.
