Description & Specifications

The car battery jump leads 22173-600-00-05 are used to start a vehicle with a discharged battery using the battery of another vehicle. They feature reinforced cables and clamps with a jaw opening of 15.5 cm.

To connect them, attach the red clamps to the positive terminals of both batteries. Connect one black clamp to the negative terminal of the assisting battery and the other to a grounding point on the vehicle with the discharged battery, away from the battery. After starting the vehicle, disconnect the clamps in reverse order. For vehicles with START-STOP, refer to the manufacturer's manual.
