The white Griffon KOLMAT sealing tape is fibre-reinforced and impregnated for sealing threads in water, gas and compressed-air installations. It can be applied directly to tapered and cylindrical threaded connections made of metal or plastic.

It is suitable for copper, brass, steel, chrome, zinc, PVC, CPVC and ABS, as well as LPG, diluted acids and alkalis. For gas, it withstands pressures of up to 5 bar at temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C. For water, it withstands pressures of up to 16 bar at +95 °C and up to 7 bar at +130 °C.
