One year of use and a few months later it broke at the spot you see in the photos. From what I see in other comments, I am not the only one who suffered this damage and fortunately it didn't break the screen I had on it, because I found it on the floor. Nevertheless, I contacted the store where I bought it and they told me the warranty does not cover it. So stay away from this product because it is not worth the money.

It has an option for support on a thin surface as well as a thick one. If there is difficulty accessing the clamp (as I had), there is also the option to screw it to the surface... with a hole of course. It is a very good choice, very high quality and sturdy construction. I am very satisfied.

Stay away from this product. To save money, they have compromised the quality of very important components. It is inconceivable that a component that holds the adjustment for the strength of the spring is made of brass.

Not even six months have passed, and while I was sitting, the screen fell down because simply the brass was defective, it had a crack that opened like butter. As if all this wasn't enough, I thought let me test the second arm as well, and I noticed that it has a crack in the same component ready to open. And just as I was holding it, while I was watching, it broke from the second arm.

Lucky that the screen didn't get damaged, unlucky that I saw the product from Skroutz and went to the store to pick it up for quicker service. This resulted in the store not recognizing that the product was defective.

The product looks great in photos, however I installed it normally as the manual said, and when I reached the point of putting up the screens, I found that one arm was broken, resulting in not holding the screen at the height you gave it.. however, I exchanged the product, and the same problem occurred again.. probably the batch was defective
