Being mainly an RPG player, I put myself for the first time to play a Mario game and chose this one for obvious reasons. The game is very enjoyable, compact-concise, with traditional turn-based battles. If you are in your 30s and gaming feels like a chore after an 8-hour workday, Mario RPG will remind you that there are still games that can entertain you without draining your limited energy.

One of the best "cheap" games I've gotten for the Nintendo Switch. Although it's a bit small, it's worth trying, especially around the 30 euros I bought it for.

Very nice remake. It was very important for Nintendo to keep it at 12 hours (15 for completionists) instead of some forty hours if they filled it with random enemies and unnecessary grind to inflate the game hours like many RPGs do. A very good introduction to the world of RPGs and turn-based combat for new players with a light and funny story/characters and lovely music that players of all ages will enjoy. The only downside, classically, is those deadly prices from Nintendo that scare our wallets, which don’t want to sell their kidneys to buy a game. In other words, wait for a good deal (I suggest 35 and below) and it’s worth your time and money.

Very good opportunity for someone who hasn't played the original, a nostalgic experience for those who have played it, the upgraded graphics make it more enjoyable and easier for someone to play it in 2024. As an RPG, it doesn't have any incredible mechanics but remains a pleasant story for fans of the franchise

The remake of Super Mario RPG is a beautiful upgrade of a classic game. It is incredibly charming and fun, keeping everything that made the original great, while also adding several improvements in the technical aspect. It is a wonderful little adventure that every fan of Mario (or console RPGs in general) must play.

Amazing game with an interesting story and incredible gameplay. It intrigues you more and more as you progress through the game.
