The Volume consists of six studies. In the first (in French), Ioannis E. Tzamtzis seeks to uncover the reasons why Kolokotronis derived his assurance that God had signed Greece's freedom from the depictions produced by law.

In the second study (in English), Charikleia Dimakopoulou highlights the influence of Ioannis Kapodistrias's ideas, rather than those of the Enlightenment, on the provisional Constitution of 1822.

In the third study (in English), Akritas Kaidatzis explores the paradox of the coexistence of a constitutional choice that is fully compatible with Modernism and an inconsistent socio-economic receptor in Greece at that time.

Barbara Boukouvala examines, in the fourth study (in English), the embodiment of fundamental human and citizen rights in constitutional texts between 1822 and 1827.

Nikolaos Drakopoulos evaluates the efforts to create an administrative justice system by the Revolutionaries in the fifth study (in English).

In the sixth and final study (in French), Lydia Papariga-Artemiada probes the ideological and political imperatives of the Revolution as they emerge in a memorandum from Justice Minister Ioannis Genatas to Governor Kapodistrias.
