Mercola Block Primer is a resin-based penetrating primer for wood and wood products with a high tannin or pigment content. Its water-based synthetic resin formula, featuring active ingredients based on nanotechnology, penetrates the wood and seals in tannins, helping to limit staining and discoloration, particularly beneath clear and white finishes.
It can be coated with penetrating and film-forming varnishes, as well as water- or solvent-based enamel paints. It helps preserve the finish color and prevents potential blistering caused by protective wood treatments.
