While the cheap ones (which I have tried countless times) dry out the eyelashes (most cheap ones, if you wear mascara often, dry out your eyelashes and some hairs fall off during makeup removal), but this one moisturizes instead. I wouldn't buy it again only because of the price, though. It doesn't give a fake result, but it does its best to make them look intense and elegant.
