In the description it says that the jug has a valve that stops the flow when you remove it, which is not true!

At first, it made the coffee very hot, but after one month, the heat of the coffee started to decrease. And after 4 months, it began to take longer to brew the coffee, sometimes taking over an hour...

Value for money. Somewhat negative that it makes the coffee very hot and it seems to alter the taste. It turns off by itself after a while (for me this was essential because I often forget to turn it off). User-friendly and beautiful.

In the almost one year that I've had it, I have no complaints. I hope it lasts over time.

Review update. 20 days ago it broke due to hard water and salts.

The same thing happened to me today. It collected water underneath. Honestly, I don't know what could be wrong. I used it normally. Two coffees a day and it didn't last even two months. I'm afraid that towards the end it gets damaged. Steam gathers and falls into the hole in the container, touches the hot plate, and something happens and it bursts.

Edit: 1 year later and the new (replacement) coffee maker stopped sending hot water upwards. I clean it once a week, yet it seems to have built up limescale somewhere at the base of the tube. Stay away, guys...

Edit2: The hotplate burst again from below. I put a glass of water and a bit of citric acid for the limescale, and within a minute there was a pop and water started leaking from underneath.

Edit 3: (2026) - The tank burst again. Third time this has happened. I cancelled the original order to get my money back. No matter how nice this model is, s.t.a.y a.w.a.y! guys. I cleaned it, took care of it, and still it burst within a year.

While I was initially very satisfied with it, after 3 weeks of careful use, it broke down. The container stopped holding water, resulting in my entire kitchen being flooded. Maybe I got a defective one, but overall my experience was bad.
