While it is easy to read and pleasant in its writing, it seems that the authors went to India and saw or isolated only the positive/spiritual aspect. Someone reading it who has not visited or seen pictures of this country will have a completely one-sided view, which does not correspond to the very poor part of the country, which emits anything but a divine aura. Great emphasis is placed on people who have achieved great things in science and technology; of course, we are talking about a population of billions, so it is logical and expected that some would stand out. Also, many times it gave me the impression that I was at Mount Athos instead of an Indian monastery, with so many common points that exist. Other than that, it is a good book for an introduction to Hinduism.
