I bought these specific (Over Ear) Hyper X Cloud III wired headphones to replace the HyperX Cloud II wired ones I had since I built my computer, which after a lot of use and also because of a pet (the USB cable was cut)

Excellent headphones for gaming and music and for general use, very comfortable, nice microphone. On a computer, connect them with the USB provided in the package to get the 100% they can offer, not directly with the 3.5 aux

as sound, they are perfect, it's just that when you wear them for more than 1 hour your ears start to hurt. but they are the best headphones I have ever had in terms of sound. and the surround.

Overall, they are good headphones, quite good. If you want them for FPS games, I would suggest downloading an equalizer; it helps you hear footsteps, motion, etc. When watching videos, the sound is also just fine. Personally, I play an FPS called Rainbow Six Siege, and by tweaking the EQ a bit, I can say I hear better than without EQ. Recommended for FPS.

I've been using HyperX since ~2016 when I got the Cloud II headphones. I've had them and recommended them to everyone over the years.

Since I don't play games anymore, I can't really evaluate their performance at their best, but for what I'm doing (YouTube, music, etc.), they are 10/10.

I have had the Cloud 1 since 2017 and after 8 years of continuous use, 3 countries and countless hours of operation at work and play... they still work, only the microphone is making static noise.

So I got the Cloud 3. Excellent product, a worthy successor to the Cloud series. Sturdy (maybe more than the 1). I hope they last as long as the 1 so I can get the 5 after about 10 years! The sound is nice and strong. They are NOT for audiophiles because they have an equalizer and lean towards the bass, where they work very well for gaming and podcasts but NOT for high-level music listening (after all, they are not made for that job). That doesn't mean you can't listen to music. Especially if you tweak the EQ a bit through the HyperX software.

The microphone, from what I've been told, is a notch above that of the 1, but honestly it's not something I've sat down to record and listen to in order to have an opinion. Since I haven't had any complaints, I consider it does what it should.

I have purchased these headphones twice for myself and once I gifted them to my boyfriend. I use them for many hours every day, which is why I changed 2 pairs in six years. The sound quality hasn't suffered; everything works perfectly, they just have many external scuffs from the usage I put them through. My boyfriend's still holds up like the first day because he doesn't use them as much. The packaging includes spare foam pads, which I found incredibly useful. A value for money purchase that I would easily make again!

Without the drivers, the sound quality is worse than 3-euro earbuds. An upgrade from Razer Kraken of... 2014! (same price) and I can't believe it, the difference in sound (and the microphone) is like night and day (in a bad way). Forget about them for mobile devices and similar, my no-name 10-euro headphones sound many times better. I wouldn't recommend them.

Truly the worst headphones there are.
I have tried the Cloud 2 and Alpha, and by far the worst.
I play FPS games and they don't even have footsteps

The sound is the worst thing about it in games. It's like I bought 5 euro headphones, they're not worth the 90 euros at all
