Superman: the hero was born on the planet Krypton, with the name Kal-El. When he was still a baby, he was sent to Earth by his scientist father, Jor-El, just before the destruction of the planet Krypton. Upon his arrival on Earth, he was found and adopted by a couple from Kansas, with whom he grew up, taking the name Clark Kent.

Very early on, he began to discover his supernatural powers, and when he came of age, he decided to use them for the common good. Superman lives in a fictional city in the USA, called Metropolis.
