Tasting Notes: This expression is inspired by David C. Stewart M.B.E.'s pioneering work with cask finishing from the 1970s and 1980s. "The Creation of a Classic" first matures in ex-bourbon casks and then is matured for a short period in oloroso sherry casks before being bottled at 43% ABV. If you love the classic smooth fruity profile of Balvenie, then this is definitely a whisky for you.
