The 350 Watt motor has satisfactory torque and can easily perform drilling in aluminum, brass, and steel (ST37-2) with drill bits from 1 mm up to 10 mm, without much pressure and with stable performance. If the lowest speed setting was below 550 RPM, it could also easily support drill bits with a diameter of 12 mm.

The spindle is quite satisfactory for a drill of this weight and has smooth movement and a tight (vibration-free) path.

The chuck that comes with the drill is perhaps one of the smallest I have seen but it is of good quality. It holds the drill bits well and shows good concentricity.

When drilling steel and with drill bits over 6 mm, a slight bending of the table is observed, visible to the eye. In softer materials (aluminum, brass, and polycarbonates) no such problem was observed. The only way to achieve perpendicularity when drilling steel with 'thick' drill bits is progressive drilling.
