Very straight forward installation and it fit about 90% in size and shape (it was a little thicker than it should be but with a little pressure it fit), personally I installed it myself with very basic tools. Don't expect any increase in horsepower from any "free-flow" filter. Its main use is the lifespan and the extra sound it provides!
