The new enhanced edition from Astbooks titled "Health-Focused Establishments 2023" provides all the necessary topics to assist accounting colleagues who wish to respond to the needs of their clients who are conducting business in the aforementioned sectors, guiding them correctly regarding the notification and licensing process of the selected activity, primarily on a practical level (e.g., documentation, file maintenance at the establishment) while also offering essential - useful information about the terms and conditions for the operation of the respective establishments.

As for the content of the book, it includes the following: The first part provides an overview of the legislative framework for the exercise of economic activity according to law 4442/2016, as amended up to law 5039/2023 where applicable. It analyzes the terms of notification, approval, the competent authorities for the processes, and the penalties imposed in relation to the notification.

The second part analyzes the terms and conditions for the operation of food and beverage businesses, according to the new Health Regulation 47829/2017 (specifications for the premises of establishments, records that food and beverage businesses must maintain, sanctions and fines for violations concerning the applicable Health Regulation).

The third part contains the processes of notification, approval, and licensing for a wide range of activities as well as their replacement, specifically for:

• Production facilities within butcher shops.
• Theaters and cinemas.
• Vending machines.
• Entertainment centers.
• Food and beverage processing activities.
• Tourist accommodations.
• Swimming pools.
• Internet service shops.

This section of the book also includes useful information regarding the use of music by health-focused establishments, fire safety, and the issuance of the corresponding certificate, as well as the prohibitions concerning smoking and alcohol.

Regarding this edition, the third part has been enriched with the following:
