Two Arabesques by Debussy arranged for four recorders (Score & Parts). Claude Debussy (1862-1918) did not write any other wonderful chamber works for the recorder apart from the solo piece "Syrinx" and the Sonatina for recorder, viola, and harp. To fill this gap, this arrangement includes both "Arabesques" (originally for piano) for four recorders, which are similar in spirit to the arrangements of these relatively early works that were common during Debussy's lifetime. In our edition, all four parts require musically equal skills from the performers, thus providing them with a valuable opportunity to deepen their practical understanding of these and other works by this great master.
