The fairy tale "A Story of the Sun" was created to be part of the activities against school violence and bullying.

As members of the action and prevention team, we aimed for the students of our school to understand the key concepts related to a phenomenon that has taken on large dimensions in the global educational community.

In the sensitive field of Special Education, this phenomenon is, among other things, rooted in the non-acceptance of diversity. Wanting to find the possibility of building on the pre-existing knowledge of our students and their already established cognitive frameworks, we decided to utilize a well-known classic fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, "The Ugly Duckling."

Then, using the technique of creative writing, in collaboration with the students, we modified it to adapt it to our objectives, in a way that is comprehensible to instill in the children acceptance, coexistence with others, and the rejection of violence.
