We had bought it for summer vacations but now we use it permanently. It is ideal for dogs with dry food, kibbles, etc. It operates with batteries but in the end, if the batteries are good, they last for months. The message recording is very funny, although the dog now knows the feeding time and waits by himself next to the feeder for food. A trouble-free and necessary product. Smart, good, and economical.
