The Ludwigia repens Rubin originating from North America features stunning dark red leaves and stems. Stems range from 20-50 cm in height and 4-6 cm in width. It provides a great color contrast with the green shades of the aquarium. Plant in large groups to enhance the decorative effect and prune regularly to encourage bushy growth.
The plant has few requirements, but if light is insufficient, the lower leaves tend to drop. In bright light, the color becomes more intense.
