This book consists of texts that were written gradually over the last two to three years before Elder Ananias left us. Very few of these were written after his repose.

It includes stories from everyday life, lighthearted incidents, as well as the difficulties and obstacles of the spiritual work of this great ecclesiastical figure.

Often, the author's narration embraces the lives and incidents of other personalities that Elder Ananias had spoken about and engaged with.

This is not a biography or an evaluation of the immense literary and pastoral work of the Elder. It is fragments of another, spiritual existence, small or large treasures from the presence of a modern shepherd among us...
