Attention! Game for consumer sheep.... When we stop being such animals and stop buying whatever nonsense they release, maybe at some point this situation will improve. Every year it gets worse. It's truly astonishing what they have in their minds over at EA. They definitely have no idea about football. Thank goodness for the monopoly. No progress. Hyper motion and I don't know what else to deceive people. If in FIFA 23 you could pass the whole team with one player if you knew how to do tricks, now you can do it undisturbed only because of the collisions the players receive. Whenever they want, they whistle a foul, goals are scored from everywhere. I'm tired of seeing goals from 10 meters outside the penalty area. Tackling the last player doesn't result in a card, but tackling in the center does. Matchmaking in seasons is simply awful. The world is filled with all these animals who take the super teams to do tricks as if they can't play normal football. The only way is to get someone like Vinicius and do tricks. You have to hate yourself to play Ultimate... Not to mention the joke of giving you female players by force... I'm not saying they shouldn't have it. At least give us some choice somehow. Separate the packs, for example, and let us choose what we want, put filters in matchmaking. They just took the easy way out and threw everything together. Luckily, the PS Plus subscription (another joke) gave it to me for free and I didn't pay for this thing...

Another FIFA (with a different name) is released. Let me remind you that I haven't played since FIFA 22, and thanks to PlayStation Plus, I got the "free" EA FC 24!
What can I say about this game. I don't want to be mean, but sometimes what I see is not very good and I can't hide it under the rug.

Let's start with the good things about the game:

1) The visual aspect is amazing. The atmosphere you see in every football stadium, the detail in the design of the players, the grass, the net movement, I have no words to describe how beautiful the game is. It is perhaps one of the great highlights of the game.

2) It is enriched with game modes to engage with. Ultimate team, (Manager) Career, Pro CLUBS, Volta, tournaments (Champions League, etc.), all of these are a lot, especially for a casual gamer who wants to try them out.

3) It has a wide variety of football teams to choose from. Although some do not have the rights of the clubs, it still offers a plethora of options to choose a team to play with.

4) The game is fun to play with friends. You will laugh, get nervous, compete against each other, and much more. Time flies by and with the combination of the many game modes, there shouldn't be an issue with how you want to play the game.

5) Ultimate Team offers a great variety in how you can build your team, as well as how you can build your own stadium. It has a lot of content, which will require many hours of grinding to build a super team.

6) The gameplay is relatively good.

Now let's talk about the game's downsides...

1) Honestly, I don't know why, but I feel like the game does not obey the player's commands. You ask for a pass to a specific player, but it goes elsewhere. You try to tackle the attacker with your defender, but they collide and the attacker keeps stealing the ball and heading towards the penalty area. There are too many clashes, in a negative sense. I also felt that many times the players are sluggish. They sit. They don't move. They don't help. You are the only one moving on the field, and the others just wait for you to "shed blood" to pass the opponents and make an attack. Am I a bad player? Did I not set up my tactics properly? Maybe, but there should be a balance. Especially in online play, all of these issues are so intense that they are incredibly frustrating.

2) Microtransactions. Of course, I have to mention this. In order to have peace of mind without having to grind too much, you have to spend additional money to build a super team with players who have the best statistics, who can dribble, make tricks, pass through the defense, and shoot without missing. It's disgusting because as a player who started playing in May, I saw super teams. Yes, I am at the end of the game, so why isn't there a proper matchmaking system where I can play against players who have similar teams to mine?

3) The absence of the intellectual property rights of some teams (plus the absence of Olympiacos and the Greek National Team) is a ridiculous absence. I don't understand why they don't exist. The game makes outrageous sales, so I wonder why such teams don't want to participate in it.

4) Online play. Disgusting. I will divide it into two parts:
i) When you are in Ultimate team (and likewise in VOLTA, because I also dealt with that), many times it would kick me out or take a long time to load. Continuously, if it was only one day, I would say okay, these things happen. But to wait, for it not to keep the changes you made to the lineup, and to have to start all over again.
ii) Let's move on to online player versus player. The connection is disgusting. I need at least 100 to keep my head calm. It constantly lags. Many online games, even free ones with millions of players, are playable enough with a mediocre connection. In EA FC 24, it's just impossible to play because you constantly have a mediocre connection. Delay in passes, delay in everything, and in combination with the bad gameplay, you want to gouge your eyes out (and throw the controller against the wall).

CONCLUSION:

For me, this game is not worth more than 30 euros. It is quite mediocre and it's a shame because it is visually and acoustically so good that it saddens you. If you are with friends and just want to play and have fun, don't be afraid. It is very good. It also has its mods that you can play alone, but that's it. I'm not a good player, I would characterize myself as average on a "world class difficulty level of the game." Just a simple casual gamer. Seriously, I can't understand why people invest so much money in players just to open gambling packs and build a good team. It's a thousand times better to buy the game at full price and the money you would spend on microtransactions, to go to other games that deserve more attention. Similarly, why do they buy the same game every year. Anyway, I've said everything I had to say.

I have been playing football games for 20 years. I first played Pro Evolution Soccer 3 and started playing FIFA from FIFA 14 onwards. It is the worst and most rigged game that has been released, and I will explain with arguments.
1) When the match is tied or you are losing by 1 goal, the goalkeepers become Buffon, Courtois, Oliver Kahn combined. It's as if they have 4 invisible hands.
2) You cannot defend for your life. To play good defense in this game, your energy must be at 100% and you must have a clear mind, things that you cannot always have, of course.
3) The referee will award a penalty for the slightest contact.
4) The referee gives one minute of added time, but when the opponent crosses the center, they can leave it until 49:15.
5) When you have a good streak of 4-5 matches in the championship and you are doing well, the game will find a vengeful way in a specific match to tear you apart and concede a goal from the 3rd minute so that you have no psychology to play at all. Before you get into the spirit of the game, you will concede immediately.
6) And the most annoying of all. To win in this game, you have to take 15 shots and forcefully score 1-2 goals. The opponents in the first chance will make a finish that combines Ibrahimovic-Batistuta and will score effortlessly, even if they have an overall rating of 65. What else can I say to convince you? If you don't want to have a stroke and a nervous breakdown, stay away!

I have played almost all the FIFA games!! I have been playing FIFA since 1997 on the Mega Drive II back then! I am a fanatic of the game!! From 1998 to 2007, I played it on PC, and then all the others on PlayStation! FIFA from 2000 to 2005, except for 2003, were the worst ones I have played! The '98 version was very good for its time! From 2006 onwards, FIFA was the best football game by far compared to Pro Evolution Soccer because it had the Champions League every year and, most importantly, the manager mode and gameplay were significantly better. From '08 onwards, the game was fantastic until 2020, it was great in every aspect. It's no coincidence that Pro Evolution Soccer copied a lot from FIFA! However, I have a complaint because until last year, I had the PS4 console, and SONY ruined the graphics and made the game too easy from '21 onwards, which significantly worsened the gameplay. This is my first year with the PS5 console and FIFA 24, and the graphics are very good! The gameplay is much better than '23, but it still needs a lot of work to reach the level of FIFA 18 and 19, which were top-notch! The most negative aspect for me is that when you play on the professional difficulty level, you can easily score 6 or 7 goals just for fun. The game is too easy, it needs to become more challenging like it used to be! When you play on world class difficulty, it is quite difficult and worth playing! I don't know about online play because I don't play it! However, the manager mode is excellent!

We were eagerly anticipating it, like the big revolution in the renewed FIFA. Conclusion? It scores about 90% in the 23rd minute, having changed almost entirely in the UI, the graphics personally seem the same to me without any difference. The faces are exactly the same, maybe even worse than in the 23rd version, the lighting in some stadiums when you play during the day is terrible, you can hardly see anything, and finally, the gameplay, yes, but. It seems like they tried somehow to make it more manual, especially if you play with manual elements (passes, crosses, etc.), but sometimes it gives you the impression that the players don't obey at all. The manager career is almost the same with a little twist, I don't have an opinion on the ultimate team, the seasons are more of the same, but I think that even though it has a P2P logic and with the speed of fiber optic network, it lags in 99% of the matches, which makes it unplayable and the controllers breakable. In summary, I'm saying that it really isn't worth the effort and money that people are currently giving for it. Stick with the 23rd version as it became good after 131235354 updates. I don't know how many updates this specific one needs to just make it good.

Very much improved compared to 23.
Its graphics are better and the animation as well, but the big difference is in the gameplay.
It has gameplay that personally reminds me of the good old Pro Evolution.
Meaning, you have full control of the player in manual mode always.
Playing a game with the same team, there are no scripted phases but different and unpredictable ones, just like in real football.
For example, you can play the same game and if you're not focused, you can concede 3-4 goals, but if you play again, you can win by 2 or 3 goals difference.
It rewards the player's concentration in the game, especially if you dedicate yourself to it.
It's not like the previous ones where you had to constantly slide to bring it to an acceptable level.
Defenders obey your commands more easily and overall the handling is much more realistic than before.
It's not perfect, but with the use of hypermotion v, the improvements are evident, towards the much better.
A significant upgrade from 23 and all the previous years' FIFA.
