Although I am a fan of Makita, something doesn't stick with me. I've had it for a year and a little more, but... The selector, when you turn it to switch from impact to screwing or vice versa, 1 out of 2 times it doesn't respond and it bothers you to find the right setting... As for power... I wouldn't say it impressed me. Maybe I expected more, I don't know. On 15/06/2022, after really minimal use... all these years I've made 50 to 60 holes... I've removed tiles from 8 kitchens... I hadn't used it for over a year, and the day before yesterday I needed it to make a hole and it started smoking, so I sent it for service and it cost me 80 euros... The conclusions are up to you. Note that the drill is like new because I take care of it... after every job, I blow it with an air compressor, clean it, and grease it.
