Coming again from a Dell P (Professional edition), I used it for multitasking and gaming. The downside, however, was that it is 60Hz, but with very accurate colors. This one has amazing response, zero lag, 240Hz native and it's super fast. The only bad thing is that the colors are yellowish, which at first glance is disappointing (at least for me).
After searching and seeing other users on the internet, I concluded that these are the most accurate and as "normal" colors as possible. I'm leaving them here in case someone needs them:

Αυτή έχει φοβερή απόκριση, μηδενικό lag, 240Hz native και πάει σφαίρα. Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι τα χρώματα είναι κιτρινισμένα, που με την πρώτη όψη απογοητεύεσαι (εγώ τουλάχιστον).
Μετά από ψάξιμο και άλλων χρηστών στο ίντερνετ, κατέληξα πως αυτά είναι τα πιο σωστά και όσο το δυνατόν «κανονικά» χρώματα. Τα αφήνω εδώ σε περίπτωση που κάποιος τα χρειαστεί:

I got this particular monitor for competitive gaming on the PS5, because it supports VRR at 1080p. After a lot of searching online, I was looking for a monitor that would be 24.5" (or at least smaller than 27") and support VRR at 1080p. Unfortunately, Sony has a strange regulation regarding VRR for the PS5 and requires your monitor to have HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (i.e., an HDMI 2.1 port) to support its HDMI Forum VRR. If you search the market, there are some 27" monitors that have HDMI 2.1 and support VRR on the PS5, although most are expensive. And then many larger TVs have HDMI 2.1 and support VRR. However, in the gaming monitor category for sizes in the 23-26" range, I didn't find any monitor with HDMI 2.1 to support VRR at a reasonable price. I think I found one or two Dell Alienware models that were extremely expensive and not worth it at all, though they did support crazy frame rates for PCs.
So after searching, according to: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tests/inputs/console-compatibility I read that there are monitors with HDMI 2.0 bandwidth that, despite Sony's requirement for HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, support VRR on the PS5 and at the same time, some monitors on the market that claim to have HDMI 2.1 ports in practice do not support VRR when connected to the PS5. So, regarding VRR for PlayStation 5 only (not for XBOX, which does not need HDMI 2.1 for VRR, you only need Freesync like many PCs), there is chaos as to which monitors actually support it.
So at this point, according to: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/g2524h I read that this Dell G2524H monitor, which I bought and am reviewing, belongs to this category that, although it does not have HDMI 2.1 (it has HDMI 2.0), supports VRR and consequently ALLM for the PS5. Δυστυχώς η Sony έχει ένα περίεργο κανονισμό όσον αφορά το VRR για το Ps5 κι χρειάζεται το monitor σου να είναι έχει HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (δηλαδή HDMI 2.1 θύρα) για να υποστηρίξει το HDMI Forum VRR της. Οπότε σε αυτό το κομμάτι του VRR για το PlayStation5 μόνο (όχι για το XBOX, αυτό δε χρειάζεται hdmi2.1 για VRR, απλά χρειάζεσαι μόνο Freesync όπως πολλοί υπολογιστές) υπάρχει ένα χάος για το ποια monitors το υποστηρίζουν πραγματικά.
Ετσι σε αυτό το σημείο σύμφωνα με το: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/g2524h διάβασα ότι αυτό το monitor της dell G2524H το οποίο αγορασα και κάνω κριτική, ανήκει σε αυτήν την κατηγορία που ενώ δεν έχει Hmdi 2.1 ( έχει hdmi2.0) υποστηρίζει VRR και κατεπεκταση ALLM για το ps5. Είναι 24.5" ιντσών 1080p κι είναι ότι καλύτερο για competitive gaming στο PlayStation. Παράλληλα έχει πολύ καλό frame rate κι για υπολογιστές που φτάνει στα 280hz Max ( αυτό εγώ προσωπικά δε το έχω δοκιμάσει το λέω με βάση τη περιγραφή) γιατί το ταβάνι στο ps5 είναι 120Hz.
Άρα κάνοντας τη κριτική τώρα για το συγκεκριμένο monitor έχω να πω πως υποστηρίζει VRR στα 1080p και ALLM στο ps5 και εξαιρετικό time response, άρα είναι τέλειο για competitive gaming. Το αρνητικό όμως ειναι ότι δεν υποστηρίζει HDR οπότε σε θέμα εικόνας μπορείτε να βρείτε άλλα monitors. Οποτε για τα χαρακτηριστικά του είναι πολύ καλό. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα! Σας επισυναπτω κι μια εικονα από το ps5 μου συνδεδεμένο με το monitor που επιβεβαιώνει την υποστηρίξη VRR για τα 120Hz στα 1080p.
Τέλος όσον αφορά το VRR στο ps5 για τα monitors να ψάξετε πολύ καλά το monitor που θέλετε να πάρετε πριν το αγοράσετε και να δείτε αντίστοιχα βιντεάκια στο YouTube ή να διαβάσετε στο internet σελίδες που να testaρουν στην πράξη αν υποστηρίζουν VRR.

Excellent choice for the money, perhaps the best monitor on the market right now! It features a refresh rate of 280Hz and a response time of 0.5ms, characteristics that are hard to find even in much more expensive screens. It supports G-Sync and FreeSync, and shows no ghosting (tested with UFO test). It does not have HDR, which, however, does not significantly affect its use, as very few take advantage of it. Important: it does not support HDMI 2.1, so it is not suitable for 120fps on PS5 – it is purely recommended for use on PC. If you are looking for a gaming monitor in this price range, it is definitely worth it!

The screen for someone chasing HZ is amazing. But unfortunately, a FULL HD screen at 24.5'' creates pixelation in the image, which is logical, and personally, I was disappointed. For 24.5'', I would recommend at least a 2K resolution.

I had my eye on this particular monitor for over a month and finally decided to purchase it in early September (purchased for €260). It is a new model from Dell (released in June 2023) and essentially the successor to the highly powerful Dell S2522HG. Coming from a TN panel at 144Hz, the first thing one notices is the significant difference in colors (deeper and more vibrant, better blacks, etc.). I won't go into further detail here, as we all understand the differences between TN and IPS panels. I will simply say that even out of the box, it has very good colors without requiring much tuning beyond the basics (brightness-contrast).
• What I wanted to mention about this particular monitor is how well it performs in-game, especially in FPS games that I play the most. The incredible response time combined with the 280Hz make it outstanding, especially at this price. The difference from 144Hz to 280Hz is noticeable, as we're talking about almost double the frame refresh rate. It has 3 response time modes (Fast - Super Fast - Extreme) and what I didn't expect is that in Extreme mode, it has zero ghosting, as long as you have G-Sync enabled from the Nvidia Control Panel. It's worth mentioning that this monitor is both Freesync Premium and G-Sync Compatible. In short, you can enable 280Hz, Extreme response time, and G-Sync or Freesync (depending on your GPU) and you're ready to go.
• I have nothing negative to say at the moment, but if anything comes up, I will update. The monitor comes with a 3-year warranty and it's worth noting that Dell's customer service is very good and fast (in case anything arises), at least based on my personal experiences in the past.

Πρόκειται για καινούριο μοντέλο της Dell (release date Ιούνιο του 2023) και ουσιαστικά είναι ο "συνεχιστής" της πολύ δυνατής Dell S2522HG. Προέρχομαι από TN panel στα 144Hz και εννοείται ότι το πρώτο πράγμα που καταλαβαίνει κανείς είναι η χαοτική διαφορά στα χρώματα (πιο "βαθιά" και ζωντανά, καλύτερα μαύρα κλπ.). Δε θα αναλύσω περαιτέρω εδώ, καθώς όλοι καταλαβαίνουμε τις διαφορές TN και IPS πάνελ. Απλά θα πω ότι και out of the box, έχει πολύ καλά χρώματα χωρίς να σε αναγκάσει να ψαχτείς για πολύ tuning πέρα από τα βασικά (brightness-contrast).
• Αυτό που ήθελα να αναφέρω για τη συγκεκριμένη οθόνη είναι το πόσο καλά αποδίδει in-game και κυρίως στα fps games που παίζω περισσότερο. Τρομερός χρόνος απόκρισης σε συνδυασμό με τα 280Hz, την καθιστούν τρομερή, ειδικά σε αυτήν την τιμή. Η διαφορά από 144Hz στα 280Hz είναι αισθητή, καθώς μιλάμε για σχεδόν διπλάσια ανανέωση των frames. Έχει 3 modes response time (Fast - Super Fast - Extreme) και αυτό που δεν περίμενα είναι ότι στο Extreme έχει μηδενικό ghosting, αρκεί να έχετε ενεργοποιημένο το G-Sync από το Nvidia Control Panel. The colors are very good and with a little tuning from the settings, it becomes optimized for whichever game category you play. Now, as for the 280hz and 0.5 ms gtg response time, they are very useful for the fps games I play. I highly recommend it to anyone who has the specs to fully utilize the monitor!

The screen is truly incredible. Coming from a 2k 144hz screen, the difference in image speed, as the Dell is 280hz, is quite significant. You feel like you have reached another level in gaming and you can see more ahead of others. Το συγκεκριμένο monitor το πήρα για competitive gaming στο ps5, διότι υποστηρίζει VRR στα 1080p. Μετά από πάρα πολύ ψάξιμο στο διαδίκτυο έψαχνα ένα monitor που να είναι 24.5" (ή τέλος πάντων μικρότερο από 27") και να υποστηρίζει VRR στα 1080p. Δυστυχώς η Sony έχει ένα περίεργο κανονισμό όσον αφορά το VRR για το Ps5 κι χρειάζεται το monitor σου να είναι έχει HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (δηλαδή HDMI 2.1 θύρα) για να υποστηρίξει το HDMI Forum VRR της. Αν ψάξετε στην αγορά υπάρχουν κάποια monitors 27" που έχουν HDMI 2.1 κι υποστηρίζουν VRR στο ps5, αν κι τα περισσότερα είναι ακριβά. Και μετά πολλές τηλεοράσεις περισσότερων ιντσών έχουν Hdmi2.1 κι υποστηρίζουν VRR. Ωστόσο στην κατηγορία των gaming monitors για ίντσες στο εύρος 23-26", δεν βρήκα κανένα monitor που να είχε Hdmi2.1 για να υποστηρίζει VRR, και να έχει λογική τιμή. Νομίζω είχα βρει ένα δυο της dell Alienware που ήταν πανάκριβα κι δεν άξιζε καθόλου, τα οποία βέβαια υποστήριζαν και ένα τρελό frame rate για υπολογιστές.
Ετσι μετά από ψάξιμο σύμφωνα με το: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tests/inputs/console-compatibility διάβασα ότι
υπάρχουν monitors με HDMI 2.0 bandwidth που παρόλο τη απαίτηση της Sony για HDMI 2.1 bandwidth υποστηρίζουν VRR στο ps5 και ταυτόχρονα κάποια monitors στην αγορά που λένε ότι έχουν hdmi 2.1 θύρα στην πράξη όταν συνδέονται με το ps5 δεν υποστηρίζουν VRR. Οπότε σε αυτό το κομμάτι του VRR για το PlayStation5 μόνο (όχι για το XBOX, αυτό δε χρειάζεται hdmi2.1 για VRR, απλά χρειάζεσαι μόνο Freesync όπως πολλοί υπολογιστές) υπάρχει ένα χάος για το ποια monitors το υποστηρίζουν πραγματικά.
Ετσι σε αυτό το σημείο σύμφωνα με το: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/g2524h διάβασα ότι αυτό το monitor της dell G2524H το οποίο αγορασα και κάνω κριτική, ανήκει σε αυτήν την κατηγορία που ενώ δεν έχει Hmdi 2.1 ( έχει hdmi2.0) υποστηρίζει VRR και κατεπεκταση ALLM για το ps5. Είναι 24.5" ιντσών 1080p κι είναι ότι καλύτερο για competitive gaming στο PlayStation. Παράλληλα έχει πολύ καλό frame rate κι για υπολογιστές που φτάνει στα 280hz Max ( αυτό εγώ προσωπικά δε το έχω δοκιμάσει το λέω με βάση τη περιγραφή) γιατί το ταβάνι στο ps5 είναι 120Hz.
Άρα κάνοντας τη κριτική τώρα για το συγκεκριμένο monitor έχω να πω πως υποστηρίζει VRR στα 1080p και ALLM στο ps5 και εξαιρετικό time response, άρα είναι τέλειο για competitive gaming. Το αρνητικό όμως ειναι ότι δεν υποστηρίζει HDR οπότε σε θέμα εικόνας μπορείτε να βρείτε άλλα monitors. Οποτε για τα χαρακτηριστικά του είναι πολύ καλό. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα! Σας επισυναπτω κι μια εικονα από το ps5 μου συνδεδεμένο με το monitor που επιβεβαιώνει την υποστηρίξη VRR για τα 120Hz στα 1080p.
Τέλος όσον αφορά το VRR στο ps5 για τα monitors να ψάξετε πολύ καλά το monitor που θέλετε να πάρετε πριν το αγοράσετε και να δείτε αντίστοιχα βιντεάκια στο YouTube ή να διαβάσετε στο internet σελίδες που να testaρουν στην πράξη αν υποστηρίζουν VRR.

Coming again from a Dell P (Professional edition), I used it for multitasking and gaming. The downside, however, was that it is 60Hz, but with very accurate colors. This one has amazing response, zero lag, 240Hz native and it's super fast. The only bad thing is that the colors are yellowish, which at first glance is disappointing (at least for me).
After searching and seeing other users on the internet, I concluded that these are the most accurate and as "normal" colors as possible. I'm leaving them here in case someone needs them:

Έρχομενος πάλι από Dell P (Professional έκδοση), την είχα για multitasking και gaming. Το κακό όμως ήταν ότι είναι 60Hz, αλλά με πολύ σωστά χρώματα. Αυτή έχει φοβερή απόκριση, μηδενικό lag, 240Hz native και πάει σφαίρα. Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι τα χρώματα είναι κιτρινισμένα, που με την πρώτη όψη απογοητεύεσαι (εγώ τουλάχιστον).
Μετά από ψάξιμο και άλλων χρηστών στο ίντερνετ, κατέληξα πως αυτά είναι τα πιο σωστά και όσο το δυνατόν «κανονικά» χρώματα. Τα αφήνω εδώ σε περίπτωση που κάποιος τα χρειαστεί:

I got this particular monitor for competitive gaming on the PS5, because it supports VRR at 1080p. After a lot of searching online, I was looking for a monitor that would be 24.5" (or at least smaller than 27") and support VRR at 1080p. Unfortunately, Sony has a strange regulation regarding VRR for the PS5 and requires your monitor to have HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (i.e., an HDMI 2.1 port) to support its HDMI Forum VRR. If you search the market, there are some 27" monitors that have HDMI 2.1 and support VRR on the PS5, although most are expensive. And then many larger TVs have HDMI 2.1 and support VRR. However, in the gaming monitor category for sizes in the 23-26" range, I didn't find any monitor with HDMI 2.1 to support VRR at a reasonable price. I think I found one or two Dell Alienware models that were extremely expensive and not worth it at all, though they did support crazy frame rates for PCs.
So after searching, according to: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tests/inputs/console-compatibility I read that there are monitors with HDMI 2.0 bandwidth that, despite Sony's requirement for HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, support VRR on the PS5 and at the same time, some monitors on the market that claim to have HDMI 2.1 ports in practice do not support VRR when connected to the PS5. So, regarding VRR for PlayStation 5 only (not for XBOX, which does not need HDMI 2.1 for VRR, you only need Freesync like many PCs), there is chaos as to which monitors actually support it.
So at this point, according to: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/g2524h I read that this Dell G2524H monitor, which I bought and am reviewing, belongs to this category that, although it does not have HDMI 2.1 (it has HDMI 2.0), supports VRR and consequently ALLM for the PS5. It is 24.5" 1080p and is the best for competitive gaming on PlayStation. At the same time, it has a very good frame rate for PCs, reaching up to 280Hz Max (I personally haven't tested this, I'm saying it based on the description) because the ceiling on the PS5 is 120Hz.
So, reviewing this particular monitor, I have to say that it supports VRR at 1080p and ALLM on the PS5 and has excellent time response, so it's perfect for competitive gaming. The downside, however, is that it does not support HDR, so in terms of image quality, you can find other monitors. So for its features, it is very good. I highly recommend it! Finally, regarding VRR on the PS5 for monitors, make sure to research the monitor you want to buy very well before purchasing and watch relevant videos on YouTube or read online pages that actually test whether they support VRR.

The screen for someone chasing HZ is amazing. But unfortunately, a FULL HD screen at 24.5'' creates pixelation in the image, which is logical, and personally, I was disappointed. For 24.5'', I would recommend at least a 2K resolution.

I had my eye on this particular monitor for over a month and finally decided to purchase it in early September (purchased for €260). It is a new model from Dell (released in June 2023) and essentially the successor to the highly powerful Dell S2522HG. Coming from a TN panel at 144Hz, the first thing one notices is the significant difference in colors (deeper and more vibrant, better blacks, etc.). I won't go into further detail here, as we all understand the differences between TN and IPS panels. I will simply say that even out of the box, it has very good colors without requiring much tuning beyond the basics (brightness-contrast).
• What I wanted to mention about this particular monitor is how well it performs in-game, especially in FPS games that I play the most. The incredible response time combined with the 280Hz make it outstanding, especially at this price. The difference from 144Hz to 280Hz is noticeable, as we're talking about almost double the frame refresh rate. It has 3 response time modes (Fast - Super Fast - Extreme) and what I didn't expect is that in Extreme mode, it has zero ghosting, as long as you have G-Sync enabled from the Nvidia Control Panel. It's worth mentioning that this monitor is both Freesync Premium and G-Sync Compatible. In short, you can enable 280Hz, Extreme response time, and G-Sync or Freesync (depending on your GPU) and you're ready to go.
• I have nothing negative to say at the moment, but if anything comes up, I will update. The monitor comes with a 3-year warranty and it's worth noting that Dell's customer service is very good and fast (in case anything arises), at least based on my personal experiences in the past.
Τη συγκεκριμένη οθόνη την είχα στο μάτι παραπάνω από μήνα και τελικά προχώρησα στην αγορά της στις αρχές Σεπτέμβρη (αγορά στα 260€). Πρόκειται για καινούριο μοντέλο της Dell (release date Ιούνιο του 2023) και ουσιαστικά είναι ο "συνεχιστής" της πολύ δυνατής Dell S2522HG. Προέρχομαι από TN panel στα 144Hz και εννοείται ότι το πρώτο πράγμα που καταλαβαίνει κανείς είναι η χαοτική διαφορά στα χρώματα (πιο "βαθιά" και ζωντανά, καλύτερα μαύρα κλπ.). Δε θα αναλύσω περαιτέρω εδώ, καθώς όλοι καταλαβαίνουμε τις διαφορές TN και IPS πάνελ. Απλά θα πω ότι και out of the box, έχει πολύ καλά χρώματα χωρίς να σε αναγκάσει να ψαχτείς για πολύ tuning πέρα από τα βασικά (brightness-contrast).
• Αυτό που ήθελα να αναφέρω για τη συγκεκριμένη οθόνη είναι το πόσο καλά αποδίδει in-game και κυρίως στα fps games που παίζω περισσότερο. Τρομερός χρόνος απόκρισης σε συνδυασμό με τα 280Hz, την καθιστούν τρομερή, ειδικά σε αυτήν την τιμή. Η διαφορά από 144Hz στα 280Hz είναι αισθητή, καθώς μιλάμε για σχεδόν διπλάσια ανανέωση των frames. Έχει 3 modes response time (Fast - Super Fast - Extreme) και αυτό που δεν περίμενα είναι ότι στο Extreme έχει μηδενικό ghosting, αρκεί να έχετε ενεργοποιημένο το G-Sync από το Nvidia Control Panel. Να πούμε εδώ ότι η συγκεκριμένη οθόνη είναι και Freesync Premium και G-Sync Compatible. Με λίγα λόγια, "κουμπώνετε" 280Hz, Extreme response time και G-Sync ή το Freesync (αναλόγως την gpu σας) και είστε έτοιμοι.
• Δεν έχω να πω κάτι αρνητικό προς το παρόν, αν προκύψει κάτι θα επανέλθω. Η οθόνη έρχεται με 3 χρόνια εγγύηση και αξίζει να αναφέρουμε ότι το service της Dell είναι πάρα πολύ καλό και πολύ γρήγορο (σε περίπτωση που προκύψει κάτι), τουλάχιστον από δικές μου προσωπικές εμπειρίες στο παρελθόν.

The colors are very good and with a little tuning from the settings, it becomes optimized for whichever game category you play. Now, as for the 280hz and 0.5 ms gtg response time, they are very useful for the fps games I play. I highly recommend it to anyone who has the specs to fully utilize the monitor!

Είχα οθόνη 27" 2k 144hz va panel και η διαφορά στην εικόνα ώς ανάλυση ειναι απειροελάχιστη καθώς είναι 24.5" .Τα χρώματα είναι πολύ καλά και με λίγο tuning από τα settings γίνεται optimized για όποια κατηγορία game παίζεις. Τώρα όσον αφορά τα 280hz και 0.5 ms gtg response time είναι πάρα πολύ χρήσιμα σε fps παιχίδια που παίζω. Όποιος έχει specs για να μπορεί να αξιοποιεί στο μέγιστο την οθόνη την προτίνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!
The screen is truly incredible. Coming from a 2k 144hz screen, the difference in image speed, as the Dell is 280hz, is quite significant. You feel like you have reached another level in gaming and you can see more ahead of others. For me, with GTG 0.5ms + AMD Freesync Premium, it is the best option for a gaming monitor at the price of €262 that I bought it for. The IPS image it has is good, I have nothing else to say about it. I haven't had any issues with dead pixels so far, but it has only been 2 days since I got it

Coming again from a Dell P (Professional edition), I used it for multitasking and gaming. The downside, however, was that it is 60Hz, but with very accurate colors. This one has amazing response, zero lag, 240Hz native and it's super fast. The only bad thing is that the colors are yellowish, which at first glance is disappointing (at least for me).
After searching and seeing other users on the internet, I concluded that these are the most accurate and as "normal" colors as possible. I'm leaving them here in case someone needs them:

I didn't touch Hue & Saturation.

Έρχομενος πάλι από Dell P (Professional έκδοση), την είχα για multitasking και gaming. Το κακό όμως ήταν ότι είναι 60Hz, αλλά με πολύ σωστά χρώματα. Αυτή έχει φοβερή απόκριση, μηδενικό lag, 240Hz native και πάει σφαίρα. Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι τα χρώματα είναι κιτρινισμένα, που με την πρώτη όψη απογοητεύεσαι (εγώ τουλάχιστον).
Μετά από ψάξιμο και άλλων χρηστών στο ίντερνετ, κατέληξα πως αυτά είναι τα πιο σωστά και όσο το δυνατόν «κανονικά» χρώματα. Τα αφήνω εδώ σε περίπτωση που κάποιος τα χρειαστεί:

I got this particular monitor for competitive gaming on the PS5, because it supports VRR at 1080p. After a lot of searching online, I was looking for a monitor that would be 24.5" (or at least smaller than 27") and support VRR at 1080p. Unfortunately, Sony has a strange regulation regarding VRR for the PS5 and requires your monitor to have HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (i.e., an HDMI 2.1 port) to support its HDMI Forum VRR. If you search the market, there are some 27" monitors that have HDMI 2.1 and support VRR on the PS5, although most are expensive. And then many larger TVs have HDMI 2.1 and support VRR. However, in the gaming monitor category for sizes in the 23-26" range, I didn't find any monitor with HDMI 2.1 to support VRR at a reasonable price. I think I found one or two Dell Alienware models that were extremely expensive and not worth it at all, though they did support crazy frame rates for PCs.
So after searching, according to: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tests/inputs/console-compatibility I read that there are monitors with HDMI 2.0 bandwidth that, despite Sony's requirement for HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, support VRR on the PS5 and at the same time, some monitors on the market that claim to have HDMI 2.1 ports in practice do not support VRR when connected to the PS5. So, regarding VRR for PlayStation 5 only (not for XBOX, which does not need HDMI 2.1 for VRR, you only need Freesync like many PCs), there is chaos as to which monitors actually support it.
So at this point, according to: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/g2524h I read that this Dell G2524H monitor, which I bought and am reviewing, belongs to this category that, although it does not have HDMI 2.1 (it has HDMI 2.0), supports VRR and consequently ALLM for the PS5. It is 24.5" 1080p and is the best for competitive gaming on PlayStation. At the same time, it has a very good frame rate for PCs, reaching up to 280Hz Max (I personally haven't tested this, I'm saying it based on the description) because the ceiling on the PS5 is 120Hz.
So, reviewing this particular monitor, I have to say that it supports VRR at 1080p and ALLM on the PS5 and has excellent time response, so it's perfect for competitive gaming. The downside, however, is that it does not support HDR, so in terms of image quality, you can find other monitors. So for its features, it is very good. I highly recommend it! I am also attaching a picture of my PS5 connected to the monitor, confirming VRR support for 120Hz at 1080p.
Finally, regarding VRR on the PS5 for monitors, make sure to research the monitor you want to buy very well before purchasing and watch relevant videos on YouTube or read online pages that actually test whether they support VRR.
Το συγκεκριμένο monitor το πήρα για competitive gaming στο ps5, διότι υποστηρίζει VRR στα 1080p. Μετά από πάρα πολύ ψάξιμο στο διαδίκτυο έψαχνα ένα monitor που να είναι 24.5" (ή τέλος πάντων μικρότερο από 27") και να υποστηρίζει VRR στα 1080p. Δυστυχώς η Sony έχει ένα περίεργο κανονισμό όσον αφορά το VRR για το Ps5 κι χρειάζεται το monitor σου να είναι έχει HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (δηλαδή HDMI 2.1 θύρα) για να υποστηρίξει το HDMI Forum VRR της. Αν ψάξετε στην αγορά υπάρχουν κάποια monitors 27" που έχουν HDMI 2.1 κι υποστηρίζουν VRR στο ps5, αν κι τα περισσότερα είναι ακριβά. Και μετά πολλές τηλεοράσεις περισσότερων ιντσών έχουν Hdmi2.1 κι υποστηρίζουν VRR. Ωστόσο στην κατηγορία των gaming monitors για ίντσες στο εύρος 23-26", δεν βρήκα κανένα monitor που να είχε Hdmi2.1 για να υποστηρίζει VRR, και να έχει λογική τιμή. Νομίζω είχα βρει ένα δυο της dell Alienware που ήταν πανάκριβα κι δεν άξιζε καθόλου, τα οποία βέβαια υποστήριζαν και ένα τρελό frame rate για υπολογιστές.
Ετσι μετά από ψάξιμο σύμφωνα με το: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tests/inputs/console-compatibility διάβασα ότι
υπάρχουν monitors με HDMI 2.0 bandwidth που παρόλο τη απαίτηση της Sony για HDMI 2.1 bandwidth υποστηρίζουν VRR στο ps5 και ταυτόχρονα κάποια monitors στην αγορά που λένε ότι έχουν hdmi 2.1 θύρα στην πράξη όταν συνδέονται με το ps5 δεν υποστηρίζουν VRR. Οπότε σε αυτό το κομμάτι του VRR για το PlayStation5 μόνο (όχι για το XBOX, αυτό δε χρειάζεται hdmi2.1 για VRR, απλά χρειάζεσαι μόνο Freesync όπως πολλοί υπολογιστές) υπάρχει ένα χάος για το ποια monitors το υποστηρίζουν πραγματικά.
Ετσι σε αυτό το σημείο σύμφωνα με το: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/g2524h διάβασα ότι αυτό το monitor της dell G2524H το οποίο αγορασα και κάνω κριτική, ανήκει σε αυτήν την κατηγορία που ενώ δεν έχει Hmdi 2.1 ( έχει hdmi2.0) υποστηρίζει VRR και κατεπεκταση ALLM για το ps5. Είναι 24.5" ιντσών 1080p κι είναι ότι καλύτερο για competitive gaming στο PlayStation. Παράλληλα έχει πολύ καλό frame rate κι για υπολογιστές που φτάνει στα 280hz Max ( αυτό εγώ προσωπικά δε το έχω δοκιμάσει το λέω με βάση τη περιγραφή) γιατί το ταβάνι στο ps5 είναι 120Hz.
Άρα κάνοντας τη κριτική τώρα για το συγκεκριμένο monitor έχω να πω πως υποστηρίζει VRR στα 1080p και ALLM στο ps5 και εξαιρετικό time response, άρα είναι τέλειο για competitive gaming. Το αρνητικό όμως ειναι ότι δεν υποστηρίζει HDR οπότε σε θέμα εικόνας μπορείτε να βρείτε άλλα monitors. Οποτε για τα χαρακτηριστικά του είναι πολύ καλό. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα! Σας επισυναπτω κι μια εικονα από το ps5 μου συνδεδεμένο με το monitor που επιβεβαιώνει την υποστηρίξη VRR για τα 120Hz στα 1080p.
Τέλος όσον αφορά το VRR στο ps5 για τα monitors να ψάξετε πολύ καλά το monitor που θέλετε να πάρετε πριν το αγοράσετε και να δείτε αντίστοιχα βιντεάκια στο YouTube ή να διαβάσετε στο internet σελίδες που να testaρουν στην πράξη αν υποστηρίζουν VRR.

It features a refresh rate of 280Hz and a response time of 0.5ms, characteristics that are hard to find even in much more expensive screens. It supports G-Sync and FreeSync, and shows no ghosting (tested with UFO test). It does not have HDR, which, however, does not significantly affect its use, as very few take advantage of it. Important: it does not support HDMI 2.1, so it is not suitable for 120fps on PS5 – it is purely recommended for use on PC. If you are looking for a gaming monitor in this price range, it is definitely worth it!

Διαθέτει ρυθμό ανανέωσης 280Hz και χρόνο απόκρισης 0.5ms, χαρακτηριστικά που δύσκολα βρίσκεις ακόμα και σε πολύ ακριβότερες οθόνες.
