    I wonder about Stanley, why such poor quality.

    The tool is for household use. If you need it for professional use, you should go for something better.
    Negatives:
    -The laser is not visible during the day, even at 2 meters.
    -The battery cover keeps coming off and the batteries fall out.

    If it had the function of minimum distance (with continuous measurements), it would be perfect. Lightweight with a fairly powerful Leiser and fast. Forget it in the sun though. Only for indoor use. Excellent value for money
