I bought it to use it with the Steinberg UR22 sound card. In order for it to work and be able to record, I had to have the input of the sound card at maximum. At 3/4 it wouldn't record anything unless I put my lips on the microphone. No, it wasn't defective! I sent it to the service within warranty, where it worked perfectly but with other consoles. The technicians said that only if I have the volume at maximum does the microphone work with this specific or similar sound cards. If you have more expensive consoles or sound cards, then you won't have a problem.
In the forums on the Steinberg website, there is a thread that specifically mentions that the Behringer C3 only captures sound with the UR22 sound card input at maximum.
This particular microphone has very low sensitivity (I think -18db) and if you don't have a very good and expensive console or sound card with strong preamplification in the inputs, it can't perform well.
So, before you buy it, make sure it is compatible with your equipment
Το αγόρασα για να το χρησιμοποιήσω με την κάρτα ήχου της Steinberg UR22. Για να δουλέψει και να μπορέσω να ηχογραφήσω, έπρεπε να έχω το input της κάρτας ήχου στο maximum. Στα 3/4 δεν ηχογραφούσε τίποτα εκτός αν κολλούσα τα χείλη μου στο μικρόφωνο. Όχι δεν ήταν ελατωματικό! Το έστειλα στο service εντός εγγύσησης, όπου δούλευε άψογα αλλά με άλλες κονσόλες. Οι τεχνικοί που είπαν ότι μόνο αν έχω την ένταση στο τέρμα δουλεύει το μικρόφωνο με τη συγκεκριμένη ή παρόμοιες κάρτες ήχου. Αν έχετε πιο ακριβές κονσόλες ή κάρτες ήχου, τότε δεν θα έχετε πρόβλημα
Στα forums στο site της Steinberg υπάρχει thread που αναφέρει ακριβώς ότι το behringer C3 πιάνει ήχο μόνο με το input της κάρτας UR22 στο τέρμα.
Το συγκεκριμένο μικρόφωνο έχει πολύ χαμηλή ευαισθησία (νομίζω -18db) και αν δεν έχεις πολύ καλή και ακριβή κονσόλα ή κάρτα ήχου με δυνατή προενίσχυση στα inputs, δεν μπορεί να ανταποκριθεί.
Οπότε πριν το πάρετε βεβαιωθείτε ότι συνεργάζεται με τον εξοπλισμό σας
