      On the negative side, the dimming is disappointing since at 1% brightness the light remains excessively strong (yes ok, the bulb is powerful, but I expected better gradation) while the color shades don’t seem to come out correctly (especially when you don’t go to the edges of the color wheel, both from the Govee app and from Google Home, it’s a bit more blue than it should be).
      I don’t know how ideal a budget option it is when at similar prices (and even lower) you can find the equivalent from Xiaomi as well as TP-Link, but it is a satisfactory choice.

        The modes are not many and some of them are similar to each other. There is a delay when you turn it on from the app. There is a community within the app, so if you feel like it, you can get ideas to create color schemes.
        The brightness is more than enough for a room.
        If I wanted to waste money though, I would go for something different.

        I also have other bulbs and Govee LED strip lights at home and everything works perfectly. My advice is to buy products from the same company if you want to fill your home with smart devices, so you don't have a different app on your phone for each one.

        On the positive side, very strong light as I expected, easy connection with Google Home and overall it does its job.
        On the negative side, the dimming is disappointing since at 1% brightness the light remains excessively strong (yes ok, the bulb is powerful, but I expected better gradation) while the color shades don’t seem to come out correctly (especially when you don’t go to the edges of the color wheel, both from the Govee app and from Google Home, it’s a bit more blue than it should be).
        I don’t know how ideal a budget option it is when at similar prices (and even lower) you can find the equivalent from Xiaomi as well as TP-Link, but it is a satisfactory choice.

        The lamp does its job very well. It has both white lighting with adjustable warmth and RGB. The app has many settings for the lighting, both for gradients and dynamic lighting changes, as well as for static light. Also, if I'm not mistaken, it has a sound response setting (and possibly image response, e.g. from a TV), but I haven't tried these two so I'm not sure.

        If there's one thing that "bothers" me a little, it's that if someone else connects to the lamp through the app, when you log in again, you have to reconnect from the beginning. That means two people can't be connected at the same time. However, the reconnection process only takes 10 - 20 seconds, so it's not a big deal.

        So, for those interested, this particular model (H6009) does not support Apple Home Kit. For a Govee model to support Apple Home Kit, it must support the “Matter” communication standard, which ONLY the H6008 model supports and, as it seems, for some reason it is hard to find.
