Christos Ath. Terezis is a former Professor of Ancient Greek and Byzantine Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Patras, a former Director of the Master's Program of the Hellenic Open University "Studies in Orthodox Theology," and a former Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Patras.

He has been awarded by the Academy of Athens (twice), honored with the Emm. Andreadis award from Priene of Ionia, and has served as a collaborator of UNESCO (twice). He has published a number of monographs and scientific articles both in Greece and internationally, on topics related to Ancient Greek Philosophy and Byzantine Philosophy and Theology.

Additionally, he has dealt with issues of Christian Education and the Didactics of the Religious Studies course.
