Attention, a double-breasted coat follows.

I will start by saying that this is a cult jacket, widely used on European fields and beyond...
Positives: Its construction quality is impeccable. The zipper, elastic bands, and seams are all of a very high standard and show serious indications that it will withstand the test of time.
It is objectively very aesthetically pleasing, easily combined with almost all outfits (even smart casual if you are daring) and suits both men and women, while its fit is excellent (the ideal regular fit). As for the size, I am 1.75m/75kg and wear a medium, which fits perfectly with good layering and slightly looser with just a short-sleeved shirt. The small size was excellent with a thin shirt underneath, but it would be too tight with additional layering. In short, if you are between two sizes like me, choose the larger one.
Regarding warmth (which is the reason it was made), it is indeed very warm, definitely much more than it appears. The fleece lining does its job, but it is not the only and main responsible for its warmth, as the patented Comfortemp synthetic lining plays a significant role in this.
It is very good as windproof, something that is naturally contributed by its "solid" construction, with the zipper covering about 1/3 of its front surface. However, see the negatives below...
It has very good breathability, which is also aided by its huge side zipper. If you open it completely (reaching almost to the armpit), you immediately feel refreshed and it also greatly facilitates taking it on and off (which we will discuss later).
The kangaroo pocket is truly huge and very deep - it can fit 2 500ml water bottles next to each other and still have space for various small items. We won't discuss the fact that you will look like you're in your 8th month of pregnancy if you do that, but the fact that you can...

Now, let's move on to the negatives, which in my opinion should not be overlooked:
It is not waterproof, it is rain-resistant. According to Napapijri's official website, its water resistance is 2000-5000mmH20. Initially, this is something very abstract, as the range it provides makes a huge difference. In any case, regardless of the exact specifications, the jacket is not waterproof in the sense that you can walk in heavy rain for hours. Of course, no one would buy this particular jacket for its waterproof capabilities, but it is worth mentioning. (Note that the equivalent Northfarer and much more expensive Skidoo offer much better waterproofing).
Secondly, and very importantly for me, the company has only lined the hood and the main body with fleece, leaving the sleeves completely without it. This does not make a difference in the actual warmth it provides, but it makes a significant difference in the FEELING when you wear short sleeves underneath. Also, it is tragic for me that there is no fleece lining inside the pockets, where it would make a significant difference in both feeling and reality. It is the only area where you can put your hands if you are not wearing gloves and it is cold... I consider the issue of fleece lining important because it shows that the company made a compromise in an area that really didn't need to be compromised (judging by the price they ask for).
Thirdly, a dark point in terms of "windproofness" is the sleeves. Their rubber is loose and does not properly hug the wrists, while the velcro sticker that would help tighten it is missing. When it's very windy, the air passes through and barely reaches your wrists... Also, the neck is loose, leaving a gap in that specific area, for which you have two options: either buy a collar or tighten the hood's rubber to close the gap, but that will slightly (for me, significantly) ruin its look.
Fourthly, the put-on and take-off. Of course, you know what you bought, but we must mention that it doesn't have the convenience of a conventional jacket. Especially when getting in and out of a car - shops, etc., it matters.

In conclusion, the jacket is really well-made, beautiful (subjective), and compact (objective). I believe it is indeed ideal for traveling, meaning you wear a thermal, a medium fleece-like layer, and this on top, and you are warm, light, and comfortable for walks, in temperatures around 0. For the same reasons, it is also ideal for the field, hence its success in these places. However, it lacks those 2-3 finishing touches that would make it outstanding.
Do I regret buying it? No.
Would I ever buy it at full retail price? Absolutely not.
Is it worth the price you find it on Skroutz? In terms of pure value, personally, no. The lack of fleece throughout its interior and its loose sleeves are significant downsides for me. In my opinion, the price at which it should be sold is MAX 120 euros - and that strictly considering the quality of construction, which is indeed very good and will give it the character of an investment over time. For the above reasons, from me it's 3 stars. Actually, I would give it 3.5, but Skroutz doesn't give that option (fix it already...) and 4 stars seemed too many to me when I see the initial price of 160 euros.
Purely practically, a serious 3-in-1 or a good parka are better choices. However (and I'll give it this after so much criticism), neither the 3-in-1 nor the parka will ever look as cool... Choose and take. (And those of you who made it this far, treat yourselves.)
