The breathing regulator features a balanced air flow piston in a chrome-plated brass body, providing a steady and easy airflow that is not affected by depth, gas pressure, or breathing rate.
The XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating System) patent application fully isolates the mechanical components from the cold, increasing resistance to cooling by 30 percent compared to the previous MK25 without affecting breathing performance. Some elements of the insulation system are visible in blue.
The new spring insulation coating, the body insulation dome, the anti-freeze cap, as well as the larger body and cap threading work together to improve performance in cold water.
The freeze protection significantly increases breathing reliability when diving in extremely low water temperatures.
- Two opposing high-pressure ports allow the first stage to be mounted either up or down.
- Five high-flow low-pressure ports on a rotating turret maximize hose routing options.
- External adjustment of the intermediate pressure allows technicians to quickly and easily tune the performance.
