Bud Sagendorf. This is the name of one of the most significant creators of Popeye, whom we got to know in Greece through magazines that were sold at kiosks from 1973 until the mid-1990s. However, for practical reasons, his stories underwent changes, as they were created to be printed in American newspapers, not in comic book magazines at kiosks.

In the series Classic Popeye Stories, we present these stories in their authentic, original form. Popeye by Bud Sagendorf returns to Greece in our own production series, with the aim of reading these stories for the first time uncut, just as they were published in America.

The second volume includes eight adventures from the period 1972 - 1974. These are stories that have been recently redistributed by King Features Syndicate and are available in processed and colored versions:
