What do users say? AI-generated summary

Users appreciate the casserole dish for its good cooking performance and the value it offers for the quality of the cast iron. It is also described as suitable for dual use, even as a deep fryer, and some users say they use it frequently without any problems. However, several reviewers note that the coating can leave black residue or rust, so careful preparation and maintenance are needed.

Excellent dual-purpose Dutch oven at a very good price. The flavor in cast iron is always superior, as long as you have a little patience in maintaining it. Absolutely worth it.

Excellent utensil, construction and material quality comparable to the same utensil from a more expensive brand.

Update: The coating it comes with is not good, it produces quite a bit of black residue. After a round of sanding by hand inside and out with coarse sandpaper until most of the coating is removed and the surface becomes smoother, almost metallic, and after 3 rounds of re-seasoning with sunflower oil, everything was fine and it did not produce black residue again. Worth the money, 4 stars only because of all the hassle with the sanding and re-seasoning.

It cooks perfectly, but it doesn't have the quality needed in the coating, resulting in rust when it dries after washing. (always, from the first use, I burn it first and then coat it with sunflower oil. Then I dry it well and use it). However, it is definitely worth its money as a better quality coating in this weight and this quality of cast iron is 3-4 times more expensive. Personally, I recommend it, as long as the proper preparation and maintenance of the coating is done.

Use twice a week. It is the second one I buy. It hasn't presented any problem.
