The pads are called RDP X-Race Titanium, which are specially designed for high-friction front brakes for track use. The existing RDP compound had been successfully used for many years but was becoming less competitive in high-level racing.

The X-race Titanium compound outperforms the old RDP pads and achieves lower lap times, allowing riders to brake later and turn in with a high degree of control. The existing properties of quick adaptation, zero noise, dust, rotor wear, and durability are also maintained.
