The filter reduces UV rays, making images clearer, especially at high altitudes. Since the filter has a neutral color and does not cause light loss, it is used as protection for the lens and should always be mounted. It protects the lens from scratches, dust, fingerprints, etc.

The filter features anti-reflective coatings, one on each side, and is made from optical glass with a thickness of just 1 mm. It is suitable for both conventional and digital cameras and is black in color. King filters are made in Japan.
