It protects optics from scratches, dust, fingerprints, etc. The SLIM filter has only 3mm thickness (standard UV filters are about 5mm). Thanks to this, there is no fear of distortion in the image. The filter features eight anti-reflective coatings, offering optical quality comparable to the highest quality filters. It is made of optical glass with a thickness of just 1mm. The filter is suitable for both traditional and digital cameras.
