The Pulsar KRYPTON 79208 adapter connects Krypton and Proton thermal imaging attachments to the body of a daytime optical lens. The four-point bayonet connection allows quick installation and removal without special tools, while the retaining clip secures the adapter to the lens. The display position can be adjusted using a precision mechanism to align the image with the field of view.

The body is machined from aluminium alloy, while the screws, retaining clip and pins are made of steel. The adapter operates in severe frost without adjustment, provided it has been installed indoors.
