'Bella Ciao' originated as an Italian folk melody, dating back to the late 19th century. Many performances have emerged over the years, but the song has been revived thanks to a new dance arrangement as well as its presence as theme music in the Netflix series La Casa de Papel. Anthony Gröger was inspired to create this dynamic arrangement for string quartet.
