Description

Triticum Dicoccum, also known as emmer or wild wheat, is one of the oldest cereals still cultivated today. Its sprout closely resembles wheat and barley, and it has excellent nutritional properties. Unlike other cereals, the taste of its grass juice is very sweet and therefore suitable for those trying it for the first time. As sprouts, they make wonderful breakfast cereals, we can make live bread (Essene), crackers, or salad.

Nutritional Information

  • Vitamins: A, B1, B5, B6, B12, C, E, K
  • Minerals: Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus
  • Protein: 15%

Cultivation: It can sprout and be used in two different ways: after 2-3 days as a sprout, or after about 9 days as speltgrass from which the valuable juice is extracted through juicing. Soak the seeds in water overnight. Then keep them in a moist container, spraying them 2-3 times a day. When they root, you can spread them on damp soil to grow into speltgrass. The photos show the stages of seed development into a small plant.
