Description

The set consists of two planters measuring 40x40x36cm and a bench with dimensions of 100x40cm that connects them.

Technical Specifications

  • Wood type: Swedish treated pine.
  • The wood is of first quality, kiln-dried and treated.
  • The inner geotextile in the planters is Span Bond 80gr/m2.
  • No drilling is required as it is specially designed to slowly pass water and retain the soil.
  • With UB protection to prevent degradation from the sun.
  • With high-strength polypropylene strap handles for easy transportation of the planter.
  • The connection of the pieces is made with stainless steel nails 80mm x 3mm and metal plates 15mm on all sides.
  • With the option of painting in your chosen color.
  • With certification for the treatment preservative that guarantees the wood will not suffer any degradation for at least 25 years in an outdoor environment.
  • For additional longevity over the years, it is recommended to apply a wood preservative on the planter.

We manufacture planters and window boxes in any size. This option is available for orders of three or more pieces.

Treatment

After the wood takes its final shape, it is placed in special kilns that are filled with water and preservative, and then it is subjected to a pressure of 12 atmospheres for about 3 hours, resulting in the preservative penetrating to the heart of the wood and stabilizing its structure. This way, we achieve maximum longevity as it cannot be affected by microorganisms such as fungi, insects, or bacteria that degrade the wood.
