The Nano Tech Bio-Block is made from ceramic spheres and is completely inert.

The Maxspect Bio-Block excels in creating bacterial colonies in the form of Bio-Nano Composite Films, allowing the development of various species of bacteria and fungi on its large surface, such as nitrifying bacteria (including species from the genera Nitrosomonas, Nitrosococcus, Nitrobacter, and Nitrococcus), yeast, phototrophic prokaryotes, etc.

The Maxspect Nano Tech Bio-Blocks are carefully manufactured to ensure quality, the well-designed porous structure of the Bio-Blocks creates ideal living conditions and environment for bacterial colonies.

Simply place them directly in the sump or in an area of the aquarium with high water flow, facilitating maintenance and saving a lot of space available for other equipment. It can be used in freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

The Maxspect Nano Tech Bio-Blocks should be cleaned or replaced every 6 months for optimal results; however, when cleaning/replacing old Bio-Blocks, DO NOT replace them at the same time. Clean/replace half of the Maxspect Bio-Blocks so that there are enough bacterial colonies to repopulate the recently cleaned/replaced Bio-Blocks.
